Is online consultation right for every problem?
No. The doctor cannot examine your child's chest, ears, throat or tummy over a call. Some problems need an in-person examination, tests or emergency care, and the doctor will say so.
How is my appointment confirmed?
A message or form is only a request. It is confirmed when you receive a reply with the date, time and how to join. If you do not get that reply, treat it as not booked.
When should I not wait for an online consultation?
Go to the nearest emergency department or call 112 if your child has:
- Difficulty breathing, or blue or grey lips
- A seizure
- Extreme drowsiness, or is limp or hard to wake
- Fever in a baby younger than 3 months
- Inability to drink, or no urine for many hours
- A serious injury or suspected poisoning
This list is not complete. If you feel your child is seriously unwell, do not wait.
Is the fee refundable?
No. Consultation fees are non-refundable. Please read the Terms and refund policy before you book.
What information do you collect?
Only your name, mobile number, your child's age group, a broad concern and an optional short note. Never your child's name or date of birth. This page does not store them. They go into a WhatsApp message that you send yourself.

Who we are
This website offers online pediatric consultations by Dr. Amita Aloona (“the doctor”, “we”). You can contact us at contact@dramitaaloona.in.
What we collect
The request form asks for the parent or guardian's name, a mobile number, the child's age group, a broad concern and an optional short note. We do not ask for your child's name or date of birth. Please do not include them in the note.
This website does not send form entries to a server and does not store them. The form only prepares a WhatsApp message on your own device. When you press Send, the message reaches the doctor through WhatsApp, which is run by a separate company under its own terms and privacy policy.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your request, arrange and hold the consultation, and keep consultation records that medical regulations require a doctor to keep.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. It is shared only with the services needed to run the consultation, such as WhatsApp, a video or voice call service and a payment app, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as needed for the consultation and for the period required by law or professional rules, and then delete it where we are allowed to.
Cookies and fonts
This website does not use cookies or advertising trackers. Its text fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers when the page opens, and Google can see your IP address.
Children's information
Information about a child is given by a parent or guardian, who confirms that they are entitled to give it. We do not collect information directly from children through this website.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the information we hold about you, subject to records we must keep by law. Write to contact@dramitaaloona.in and we will reply within a reasonable time.
Security
We take reasonable care to protect your information. No internet or messaging service is completely secure, so please share only what is needed for the consultation.

What the service is
An online consultation is a conversation with a pediatrician by video or voice call. It gives general medical guidance based on what you describe. It does not replace an in-person examination, tests or emergency care, and the doctor may advise you to visit a clinic or hospital. No result or outcome is promised.
Emergencies
This service is not for emergencies. In an emergency go to the nearest hospital emergency department or call 112.
Booking
A message or form is only a request. An appointment is confirmed only when the doctor replies with a date and time. Appointment times are shared on WhatsApp.
Fee
The consultation fee is ₹600 for 20 minutes. Payment is made as per the instructions shared with you when you book.
No refunds
Fees are non-refundable. This includes missed appointments, appointments you cancel, calls that cannot be completed because of problems with your internet or device, and consultations that have taken place, including where the doctor advises an in-person visit or tests. This does not affect any right you have under applicable law.
Changing the time
If you cannot attend, tell us as early as you can. We may offer a new time at the doctor's discretion. If the doctor has to cancel, a new time will be offered.
Medicines
The doctor will prescribe medicines only when it is appropriate and permitted over an online consultation, and may decline to prescribe when it is not.
Your part
Please give accurate and complete information, and follow advice to seek in-person or emergency care. To the extent the law allows, the doctor is not responsible for harm that results from incorrect or incomplete information, or from not following that advice.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We may update them from time to time.
